 As I creep towards the active volcano I hear the static lightning cackling like an evil witch. Suddenly a burst of lava gushes out of the volcano as I sprint back in despair hoping I can escape in time.  The lava flows across the snowy mountains covering every inch with boiling hot lava. Smoke starts to rise up in the air creating weird shapes and faces.The night sky filled with black smoke as the volcano carries on  it’s rampage of spreading lava like corona virus spreading deaths. Mountains covered in smoking hot lava, elegant blue sky filled with smoke, stars fading away “I mean it couldn’t get worse.” I fall onto my knees and start tearing up as I clench the snow into my fist.

How banks work

A bank!What is a bank?Well banks have been around for around about thousands of years.Banks are much different than piggy banks because there are much more steps than just chucking coins into pigs.You must ask yourself how do banks work?Well we know they store our money but what else do they do?

So in banks the first step is to open up a bank account and deposit some money into it.Then the bank might give money $10.00 to someone but they promise to pay 0.7 extra of what they took and the bank gets 0.5 of it and you yourself get 0.2 of it.This is called interest.Interest is something that you can earn and you might have to pay the interest back to the bank that you borrowed the money from.

You might wanna know what else does a bank do?Well there is something called borrowing and lending money.This is something that most clients do with their money they  borrow the money and lend it back.They work with tens of billions of dollars so this is not a surprise.Banks are very strict on their rules because they wouldn’t want they’re clients money flying everywhere but if you get approved for a loan that means they are letting you borrow their money but you must lend it back to them.

The last thing that banks do is that it is a win win situation for the bank and you because they earn more money and so do you.Banks use a physical ATM that help you deposit your money into your account.They can be seen in BNZ,ANZ,Westpac and much more.Banks have to pay the money that they gave to someone else back to you so you don’t lose any money although you earn heaps of interest.Your money is safe in a safe that can only be accessed by you and the bank

Banks overall are a safe place for your money and it is much more than just keeping your money somewhere safe. It is about much more than that.Banks are very complicated and hopefully you know how they work.You should open a bank account because there are lots of good stuff that comes from it.

Trading my sister for a Lamborghini

As I approach my house from school and I see my friend zany's Lamborghini and I go up to him and then I chicken out and go back to my house because my offer was too unfair.But suddenly I see my sister and a plan forms inside my head.As I headed off to zany's house.Then my sister asks “where are we going” I quickly reply “we’re going to the Lamborghini dealership” “but why?”my sister asks curiously “because you’re an idiot” I say... “wah,wah, wah” my sister sarcastically replies.Finally we have reached zany's house as I go up to the doorbell and ring it.After like 2 seconds zany's butler appeared and asked “what brings you here young man” I reply “I would like to see zany” “very well come inside and I’ll go get him for you” says the butler. Obviously my brainless sister says “Zany my brother wants to trade your Lamborghini for me” “She’s crazy” I mutter.As my sister asks “would you do it zany” he replies “no thanks” I say “she’s really cute and fun to play with I say and he just walks away like nothing ever happened.Well in the end he actually said yes.I raced around in his Lamborghini for a long time but I got bored.So I traded my sister back and because my mum was probably going to kill me

 In a fancy Thai restaurant in the middle of Singapore.The waiters are wearing tuxedos and there are crisp white table cloths and gentle violin music.The subtle smell of the food and the clear crystal wine glasses and eating fancy food. Doesn't get better than this. As I drink some pineapple juice and realise I have to pee also known as a number 1.But……… I don't know where the toilet is!!!!So I try to hold it in but as I look around stupidly drinking some more juice.I knew it I couldn’t hold it any longer so I peed my pants. Then after that I ask if I can be excused and then my mum “says” yes and I go to look for the bathroom.Finally after what had felt like a million years I found the bathroom at the end of the restaurant which was like a gazillion years away and as I walked in I saw a blow dryer.Suddenly I knew I was on to something so I took the blow dryer and put it on my pants and after about 30 minutes I managed to dry my pants and I then walked outside like nothing ever happened.So after we eat we went home and to this day nobody knows that I peed my pants

The boy in the lapis jacket was hunched forward gripping the game controller. Eyes glued to the TV, he ignored his surroundings like he was having a dream. He ignored his mum and the present that she gave him. He seemed uninterested. When sunlight came into the room, he cringed and acted like he was in a cave with no exit. Uncaring and selfish, the boy was torturing everyone.

The boy was moody and never let  anything come in his way; he was stubborn. Obsessed with video games, the boy was in a dark room and was ignorant to anyone that tried to take his attention away from the TV. The boy seemed heartless at first but then he got more considerate about others and treated them fairly.

Why you should join a multicultural group

Last week we wrote a persuasive writing about why you should join a multicultural group.

Do you think it's important to join a multicultural group? Well it sure is  because you have to show respect!!! And if you don’t they won’t respect you either. Today I am going to persuade you why we should join a multicultural group. I will talk about how it can help build motor skills, teamwork skills and showing respect for that culture. Children must do this because its vital for them to learn about other cultures so that they can  make trust and because it's good for health.

As a children must my first point is that it  helps build motor skills!!!!!! The reason i am saying this is because if you do this  it will be good for your health and fitness and as you should know fitness is super helpful because it keeps you active. Fitness is also key because fitness helps you stay away from sickness and it makes sure you don’t have weight gain,it will have effect on your heart if you eat sugar and much more.According to google if you eat too much sugar it increases the percent that you could die and the best way to stop that is by eating healthy.Eating healthy also prevents you from having a sore tummy or a tummy ache. That is why it is so important to join a multicultural group.in addition to that there is another point that point is that it is good for coordination of limbs because  it has a lower chance of getting injured and you will use less energy.AS some of you might or not know there is a thing called fine motor skills  and gross motor skills.For instance google has said fine motor skills are achieved when we children use our small muscles such as our hand,fingers and wrists.Now gross motor skills are much larger movements and energetic movements such as walking,kicking,jumping and climbing.

Okay guys that's one reason done so here is my second if you join a multicultural you will build teamwork skills.For example you will build trust and respect from other people and respect is one of the main things in the world because if you don’t show respect you will be lonely, people will make fun of you and they won’t respect you.So if i were you you must join a multicultural group it’s for your own sake so believe it or not these things will happen maybe not quickly but mark my words it’s bad so join a multicultural group!!!Next one guys if you have teamwork skills and make friends they will back you up and support you the whole way and If you have no confidence and don’t have the will to succeed you will never have true friends so be bold and never give up because you never know if you never try.As some of you should know Michael Jordan had lots of confidence and the will to achieve anything despite failing many times he kept persevering and that is why he succeeded.

My third and last point is that if you have to show respect for the culture because if you value and care for that culture they will care for you. The good things in life if you join a multicultural group you will have friends, people will like you and so you learn about cultures you might not know about and that will make you smarter. So you see you will learn more, you will have better oral language so if someone ask you a question you will know how to answer it and if you show that you care for that culture and suddenly in the multicultural group you guys might be learning about your language so then people will show respect for your language and you will feel happy trust me.

Overall i think it's super important cause  it’s good for health and you will be smarter so you will have friends and people will care about your language. Also you will build trust and respect from people and it shows it’s alright to be different from people. So it’s vital you join a multicultural group!!!!!!!!!!!!! So please join a multicultural group it’s for your own good so that covers all my main three points and I hope you see that it’s extremely effective  if you join a multicultural group.
